Well, it's been a while but I'm finally back with more. My newest project is a simple little mobile game for android phones called Colour Dash. It is a single button game that relies on timing and precision and a linear difficulty curve to draw players in and keep them playing. It looks something like this:
I started this project a couple of months ago as a a way to better my mobile development skills, not only in using unity, but in coming to terms with different phone architectures, integrating google play services (sign-in, achievements and leaderboards), intergating ads and having experience publishing a fully completed game to the google play store. It is a completely solo effort up until this point, however I am looking around for assistance in finding/creating music and sounds.
At this moment the game is still in closed alpha and I have no real idea as to when it will be completed, however I estimate it will be finished within a few weeks (assuming I find a sound guy soon). Other than sound, any remaining bugs should be well and truly squashed by the end of next week.
Although this game was only really meant to be a learning experience and not the next big hit, I still hope that you keep your eye out for it's release, download it, play it and hopefully enjoy it.
